My name is Ronna, midwife and owner of Mama Bear Midwifery, in Livingston, Montana

I provide home birth midwifery services and will travel up to a 2 hour radius of Livingston and Bozeman Montana.

I attend all births with a second midwife as my assistant and provide all supplies needed.

My Story

I fell in love with natural, undisturbed birth with the birth of my oldest daughter 27 years ago. Supported by a home birth midwife, it was one of the most empowering experiences of my life and inspired my calling to become a midwife.

As a mother of five, I have experienced a wide range of births, including home water births, twins born via cesarean, and two VBACs.

In 2019, I began my journey toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. Over the past several years, I have worked in both birth center settings and alongside several home birth practices.

I am passionate about supporting mothers through pregnancy and birth with respectful, individualized care that honors each woman’s unique journey.
